Our journey in 2024 began with a record-breaking charity softball tournament in Lewes, DE. We raised over $25,000 in a single weekend, which was immediately allocated to tuition assistance for 50 local children.
This event brought together local businesses, schools, and families, strengthening our community ties and expanding our volunteer base by 20%.
In 2023, our organization focused on providing technology to underserved schools. We distributed 200 laptops and tablets to students in Maryland and Virginia, ensuring they had the tools needed for modern education.
Our workshops also included basic digital literacy training for both students and their parents, creating a more inclusive learning environment.
DSP East Coast Lady Trooper Charity Softball Inc was founded with a simple goal: to help children in need. Our first outreach program provided school supplies and tuition support to 20 students in our local community.
Since then, we have grown from a small group of volunteers to a registered non-profit organization with a significant impact across the East Coast.
As we look to the future, we are excited to expand our programs to include more comprehensive support, including mentorship and career guidance for our scholarship recipients.
